Adding to her orchestral experience, Haylea recently performed an original piece, “My Dior” orchestrated by the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra (arranged by John Walton) at Milestone Studios, demonstrating her continued engagement with Cape Town’s vibrant music scene and her dedication to expanding her artistic repertoire.

Her notable roles as a leading lady include the principal role of Baroness Elsa Schraeder in the London West End production of The Sound of Music, presented by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Really Useful Group, David Ian Productions, and Pieter Toerien.

This acclaimed production toured internationally to the Philippines, Singapore, China, Macau, Colombo, and South Africa (September 2017 – May 2018).

She also delivered an enchanting portrayal of a somewhat indecisive Cinderella in Stephen Sondheim’s subversive musical, “Into the Woods” (directed by Steven Stead and performed at Theatre on the Bay).
